A lifetime of belongings, cared for with respect.
When the time comes to let go of a family home, we look after everything in it. Estate sales, online auctions and clearances for families, with a complimentary assessment and no upfront cost.

Most of the families we work with have not done this before. You do not need to know what anything is worth, or where to begin. That is our role.
- A parent is moving into a residence and the family home is being sold.
- An estate must be settled by a fixed date.
- You are downsizing and want a lifetime of belongings placed with people who will value them.
- Family members live at a distance and cannot manage weeks of sorting.
Four steps, from first visit to final handover
- 1With you
Assessment
We visit the property with you, review the contents, and give you a candid assessment of what has value. You receive a written proposal whether or not you decide to proceed.
- 2With you
Your selections
Photographs, documents and the pieces the family wishes to keep are set aside. Nothing leaves the home without your approval.
- 3Handled by us
Preparation and sale
Our team sorts, researches, prices and sells. Cataloguing, photography, staffing and marketing are handled for you; your presence is not required.
- 4Handled by us
Settlement and clearance
You receive an itemised statement and payment. Remaining contents are donated or removed, and the property is returned to you on the agreed date.
We advise. You decide.
Most estates use a combination. The assessment determines which pieces are best suited to each.
Estate sale
The home is opened to the public over one or more days, with every item priced and our staff on site. Suited to a full household that must be sold promptly.
How our estate sales runTimed auction
Each piece is photographed, catalogued and offered to bidders across Ontario, closing on a fixed date. Suited to fine furniture, art, silver, jewellery and collections, and to properties that cannot be opened to the public.
View the auctionFixed-price shop
Individual pieces offered at a set price through our Bowmanville shop and website, with shipping across Canada and the United States. Suited to items without a deadline.
Visit the shopNo upfront cost. Clear terms, in writing.
Our fee is a percentage of sale proceeds, agreed in writing before work begins. Research, photography, staffing and marketing are included.
Where a full clearance of the property is requested, it is quoted in advance. If the assessment shows that a sale is not the right course for your situation, we will tell you so.

Every item, from the first room to the final handover
- Sorting of every room, storage space and outbuilding
- Research and informed pricing of antiques, art, silver and jewellery
- Photography, catalogue descriptions and marketing to our buyers
- Staffed sale days and secure payment handling
- Transport of pieces to our warehouse for auction or retail
- Donation and removal of remaining contents on your schedule
- An itemised statement of every item sold and its price
Items identified by the family are set aside before any sale begins. We would rather retain a piece than sell one you intended to keep.
